Their existing setup was unreliable and split into two separate systems, making centralized management difficult. Additionally, there was a lack of sounders and beacons, leading to concerns that not everyone would evacuate during a fire alarm drill.
To enhance safety, they required:
- A unified fire alarm system for the entire building
- Additional sounders and beacons for improved alerts
- Automatic notification to a central monitoring station for keyholder and fire brigade response

Comprehensive Fire Alarm System Upgrade
After evaluating all options, we installed an Advanced MX5 Pro addressable panel with Apollo detection and warning devices, ensuring the system met all our client’s needs.
What We Did
- Installed a centralized fire alarm panel for full-building control
- Altered and extended cabling to integrate the system into one
- Replaced outdated beam detection with new point smoke detection
- Added additional sounders and beacons to improve alerts
- Secured all fire alarm cables to BS7671 standards
- Installed CSL DualCom Pro Fire for automatic central station monitoring
